Family-Central is designed with your privacy as a priority. We believe your family's data belongs to you and only you. This privacy policy explains how we handle information in connection with our app.
Family-Central does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All your data remains on your device and in your private iCloud account. Specifically:
All your data is stored locally on your device. When you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud account, protected by Apple's security measures. Family sharing uses Apple's CloudKit sharing feature, which means shared data is encrypted and only accessible to family members you explicitly invite. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with third parties. Your information stays entirely within your control on your devices and iCloud account.
Family-Central does not track you. We do not use any advertising identifiers, and we do not link your data with third-party data for advertising or marketing purposes. The app fully complies with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Family-Central makes anonymous network requests to provide certain optional features:
These services only receive the minimum information needed (e.g., location coordinates for weather, currency codes for exchange rates). No account information, device identifiers, or personal data is ever transmitted to these services.
Family-Central is designed to be used by families, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or any other users. Since all data is stored locally on devices and in private iCloud accounts controlled by the family, we have no access to any information about our users, regardless of age. Parents and guardians maintain full control over their family's data.
Since we do not collect or store your data on our servers, there is no data retention on our end. Your data exists only on your devices and in your iCloud account for as long as you choose to keep it. You can delete your data at any time by:

Because we do not collect personal data, traditional data subject rights (access, correction, portability) are handled entirely through your own devices and iCloud account. You have complete control over your data at all times. If you have any questions about managing your data, please contact us.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Since we do not collect email addresses or other contact information, we will notify you of any changes through a notice within the app when you open it after an update. Changes will also be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after being notified of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By downloading, installing, or using Family-Central ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
By downloading or using the App, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
The App offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional features such as Family Sharing. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Prices are displayed in your local currency before purchase. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Daniel Petrariu and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
The App uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services for data storage and sharing. Your use of these features is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms of Service. We are not responsible for any issues arising from iCloud service availability or Apple's infrastructure.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daniel Petrariu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Since your data is stored locally and in your own iCloud account, you retain full control over it. We do not have the ability to remotely disable the App or access your data. This license terminates automatically if you violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through a notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
